Easter Egg Decorating 2022

Last Saturday, there was a Free Craft Event at the Library! We dyed Easter Eggs and painted themed wood ornaments. It was a blast! Here are some pictures from the event.

Six kids participated, and each got to dye/decorate 10 eggs. I got cardboard/paper eggs, instead of real ones. They were less messy overall, but didn’t take the dye as quickly. They also floated in the the cups! Luckily, I had some gloves and tongs the kids could use to hold them down. Besides dye, the kids could use glitter glue, markers, crayons, or felt pieces to decorate their eggs.

The kids also painted wood ornaments, but I didn’t manage to grab a picture of that. Each kid got a bunny, a carrot, a chick, and an egg shape to paint!

Hoppy Easter Everybunny!
