December Events around Magdalena

Mark your calendars for these fun events happening around Magdalena this December!

• Saturday 12/4, 1-2pm | John W. Briggs | “How to Enjoy & Understand Our Starry Sky” | Library

  • Acting president of the Magdalena Astronomical Society will present locally recorded photographs of “Deep Sky Wonders.” He’ll also demonstrate the Stellarium software, an amazingly powerful, free sky-map! John will also report on the recent activities of local astronomers and our astronomy club. Check out the listing on our Events page for more info.

• Saturday 12/11 | “Rockin’ Round the Xmas Tree Lighted Parade and Shopping Crawl” | Town, Route 60

  • During the day, check out all the amazing stores and restaurants around town! Check with specific businesses for their hours.

  • Vendor Market at the Ilfeld Building, 2pm

  • Light Parade down Route 60! Sign up at Village Hall. Parade begins at 6pm

• Saturday 12/18, 11am-12pm | Santa Claus is Coming to the Library! | Library

  • Santa Claus will be at the library to read a story to kids and then take pictures! We’ll have books, hot cocoa, and cookies! Come join us for the fun. Look out for more info on our Events page.
