Lead by author Steven Havill, this workshop will cover: plot, characterization, setting, momentum, product placement, and commercial vs subsidy press publishing. Bring brief samples of your writing if you wish. Lots of questions encouraged!
Saturday, September 17th, 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm with an hour break for lunch. Bring your own or visit one of our amazing Magdalena restaurants!

Steven Havill is the author of 31 novels, including 4 westerns, 2 historical medical novels, and 25 Posadas County Mystery Series titles. A long-time instructor for the Famous Writers' Workshops, Havill has been writing commercially since 1981. His teaching career includes 25 years in public schools, UNM-Grants, and Trinidad State.
