Saturday October 9th 1-2pm, come see Dean Crane present on gemology and gemstone cutting (lapidary). He’ll show us a bit about how he turns rough stones into beautiful jewelry. He’ll also teach us a bit about how stones are marketed.

Dean Crane
Dean Crane has been involved in gem cutting (lapidary) for over 50 years. Recently, he gave a presentation on local gemstones during the 2021 Frontier Festival. Dean wants to share his knowledge so people will have a better appreciation for what is involved in all aspects of gemstones.
