John Briggs presents Dance of the Planets: Highlights of Magdalena’s September Sky, demonstrating the Stellarium sky simulation software. Free Library Event.

Local Magdalena author, Judyth Shamosh, will be here Saturday, Feb 26th from 1-2pm to talk about her new book, “The Physics and Poetry of Eastern Herbal Medicine.”

John W. Briggs is coming to the library to show photos recorded locally of “Deep Sky Wonders.” He will also demonstrate the Stellarium software and report on the astronomy club’s recent activities.

Local Dean Crane, Lapidarist (gemstone cutter) will present on basic gemology, gemstone cutting, and marketing. Free event from the Magdalena Public Library.
